About Sprout Pediatric Therapy

Mrs. Hayes is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with six years of experience serving children and families across Western Kentucky. She earned her Master’s degree from Murray State University and holds current state and national certifications. Her therapy approach is rooted in the belief to “love them first and treat them second,” focusing on building a trusting relationship with each child to create a safe, supportive space for growth. Additionally, she specializes in early feeding skills, holding extra certifications in assessing and treating tethered oral tissues (TOTs) and lactation support/education. Outside of work, Hayes enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and making memories with her husband and their two precious kiddos. Hayes is passionate about helping children reach their milestones and looks forward to being part of your child’s journey!

Mrs. Morgan is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with seven years of experience dedicated to helping children grow through communication. As co-owner of Sprout Pediatric Therapy, she’s recognized for her warm and creative approach in supporting kids facing communication and feeding challenges. Morgan is passionate about advocating for children with complex communication needs, empowering them and their families to find their voice and connect with the world around them. Her commitment extends beyond the therapy room; she serves on the Board of Directors for Families on the Spectrum, demonstrating her heartfelt desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families within the autism community. Outside of her professional endeavors, Morgan enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and soaking up sunshine with her husband, Noah.

 Mrs. Katie is a pediatric speech-language pathologist beginning her career with Sprout Pediatric! She is dedicated to serving children and their families as she supports growth and communication. She earned her master’s from Murray State University and gained a love and devotion for pediatrics. She believes that meaningful therapeutic progress starts with establishing trust and rapport, creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable learning and growing. Katie loves meeting children at their level, embracing her silly side to create sessions that feel natural, engaging, and memorable. Her compassion, patience, and collaboration with families allows her clients to reach their fullest potential. She also has a special passion for early literacy and enjoys helping children build the strong communication and language skills that create the foundation for reading success and lifelong learning. Outside of work, Katie enjoys coffee dates with friends, basking in the sun, serving at her home church, and making memories with her husband, Lucas. Katie is excited to be a part of your family’s journey and looks forward to celebrating every milestone along the way! 

Mrs. Micayla is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with over three years of experience working with children and their families. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Murray State University. Micayla is passionate about getting to know each child as an individual and believes meaningful therapy begins by recognizing their unique strengths, interests, preferences, and ways of communicating.

Her therapy approach is child-led and individualized, with an emphasis on creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Micayla has a special interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), social communication, and self-advocacy. She values all forms of communication and enjoys helping children express themselves, connect with others, advocate for themselves, and build confidence. She is also passionate about caregiver education and empowering families with the knowledge and practical strategies to better understand and support their child’s individual communication needs beyond the therapy room. Micayla loves incorporating play, movement, music, and each child’s natural interests into therapy to make learning meaningful and fun.

Outside of work, Micayla enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and two cats. In her free time, she loves board games, puzzles, coloring, and trying new things—whether that’s a new coffee flavor, restaurant, or local craft fair.
